Graduating Student Conference

Our hearts trust God fully to engage these youths as they leave secondary school. We visit almost all private and public schools, talking to SS3 graduating students about their future, and offering them scholarship opportunities and YMLA access.

Our Origins

The History of GSC

The Graduating Student Conference was born out of a profound realization: the transition from secondary school to the next phase of life is the most critical juncture for a young adult in Nigeria. Over a decade ago, we recognized that thousands of bright SS3 students were stepping into the world without proper guidance, mentorship, or resources. We started by visiting just a handful of local schools, offering career advice and a listening ear. Today, the GSC has grown into a massive statewide tour reaching over 50 locations annually.

Why GSC
The 'Why'

Why the Graduating Student Conference?

SS3 is a make-or-break year. It's the moment when teenagers face immense pressure regarding exams, university admissions, and career choices. We specifically target graduating students because:

  • They are at their most receptive to structural mentorship.
  • They often lack access to accurate scholarship and career data.
  • They need strong moral and leadership foundations before entering higher institutions.

What We Have Learnt So Far

Untapped Potential

We've learned that brilliance is evenly distributed, but opportunity is not. Even in the most remote public schools, we find exceptionally gifted minds waiting for a chance.

The Need for Direction

Many youths have big dreams but lack a roadmap. Providing them with practical steps, scholarship pathways, and mentorship completely changes their trajectory.

Community Matters

A single motivating session can spark a fire, but a sustained community (like YMLA) is what keeps that fire burning through university and beyond.

How We Help

Our approach is holistic. We don't just give motivational speeches; we provide actionable resources and long-term support systems.

Scholarship Opportunities

We connect outstanding students with local and international scholarship funds to ensure finances don't hinder their education.

YMLA Access

We recruit the most promising students directly into our Youth Mentoring and Leadership Academy for intensive leadership training.

Career & Exam Guidance

We provide expert advice on JAMB, WAEC, university selection, and emerging career paths in the modern economy.
